What to look out for:

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the participation in and operation of the Paint Your Own Pottery Workshops ("Workshop") held by [Your Studio Name] ("Studio") at [Studio Address]. By registering for and attending the Workshop, participants ("Participant" or "Participants") agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. Workshop Registration and Payment 

  • Registration: Participants must register and pay in full prior to the Workshop date to reserve their spot. Registration can be done online, via phone, or in person.

  • Payment: Payment is due at the time of registration and must be completed before attending the Workshop. Accepted payment methods include [list payment methods, e.g., credit card, UPI, cash].

 

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancellations made at least [48 hours] before the scheduled Workshop will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

    • Cancellations made within [48 hours] of the Workshop are non-refundable but may be rescheduled depending on availability.

    • The Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule Workshops due to low attendance or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by the Studio, participants will be offered a full refund or rescheduling.

 

2. Workshop Details

  • Duration: Each Workshop will last approximately [4 - 5 hours].

  • Materials Provided: The Studio will provide all necessary materials, including pottery pieces, paints, brushes, and glaze. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, an apron is provided by the studio to avoid staining.

  • Studio Supplies: All items used in the Workshop are for the Participant's use during the session only. Participants are responsible for the care of all materials and pottery pieces during the session.

 

3. Participation Requirements

  • Age Restrictions: Participants must be [16 years or older]. Children under [10 yrs] must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Accompaniment: If a Participant requires an adult guardian (e.g., for children or those with special needs), the guardian must remain on the premises during the session.

  • Health and Safety: Participants agree to follow all health and safety guidelines provided by the Studio. This includes following instructions for handling pottery, tools, and paints.

 

4. Pottery Firing and Glazing

  • Firing Process: After the Workshop, pottery pieces will be glazed and fired by the Studio. The firing process usually takes between [mondays] and [fridays] days. Participants will be notified when their pieces are ready for pick-up.

  • Pick-Up: Pottery pieces must be picked up within a week after notification of availability. The pieces can also be portered to you at your request as well.

  • Results of Firing: The Studio is not responsible for any unforeseen results during the firing process, such as cracks, glaze runs, or color variations. Every effort will be made to ensure a high-quality result, but participants understand that pottery is a handmade art form and results may vary.

5. Liability and Waiver

  • Liability: Participants acknowledge that they will be using various tools and materials during the Workshop, and that while safety precautions are taken, accidents may still occur. The Studio is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the participation in the Workshop, including injuries sustained from handling tools, paint, or pottery.

  • Waiver: By attending the Workshop, participants release the Studio from any liability, claims, or damages resulting from participation, including personal injury or property damage. This waiver applies to the participant and any accompanying individuals.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Respectful Behavior: Participants agree to maintain a respectful and considerate environment during the Workshop. Disruptive behavior, including inappropriate language or actions, may result in immediate removal from the session without a refund.

  • Studio Property: Participants are expected to handle all materials and studio property with care. Damaged materials or equipment caused by negligence will be subject to replacement fees.

 

7. Photographs and Marketing

  • Consent to Photography: Participants consent to photographs and/or video recordings taken during the Workshop for marketing and promotional purposes, including use on social media, websites, and printed materials. If a participant does not wish to be photographed or recorded, they must notify the Studio in writing before or at the start of the Workshop.

8. Refunds and Rescheduling

  • Refund Policy:

    • Full refunds are available for cancellations made [X] days in advance.

    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than [X] hours before the event. In case of a no-show, the full fee will be forfeited.

  • Rescheduling: Participants may reschedule their workshop participation with at least [48 hours] notice, subject to availability. A rescheduling fee of [insert amount] may apply.

9. Force Majeure

  • The Studio shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, government actions, war, labor disputes, or any other event that renders it impossible or impractical to conduct the Workshop.

10. Privacy

  • The Studio is committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Personal information provided during registration will only be used for purposes of administering the Workshop, including communication about cancellations, reschedules, and reminders. The Studio will not share personal information with third parties without explicit consent.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • The Studio reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants before the next Workshop. By attending any future Workshops, participants agree to the updated Terms and Conditions.

12. Governing Law

  • This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from the Agreement will be handled in the appropriate courts of [Jurisdiction].

13. Acknowledgment

By registering for and attending the Paint Your Own Pottery Workshop, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
